I like these posts seeing as they are educated contributions. The truth is from some of the forums i have read. Shadowrun had a single player but was stopped half way through because microsoft wanted it to be available to Vista. Thus they never had time to finish. Second many probly dont remember this but shadowrun released its first trailer as a downloadable when 360 first came out. And released one or two more until christmas of that year. And then of course it went silent. in the first trailer it had even some ideas of allowing people to make copies of themseleves and using enhanced vision to tell the real one. The truth is i beleive this game has many possibilities because as i started playing when it first came out, ive had 15 ppl get interested in the game.

Well I was playing the old pen and paper module of shadowrun way back in the day. When game shadowrun for snes came out I was thrilled to buy it but dissappointed in it content. When shadowrun came out for the sega genesis I had low expectations but I creamed myself at the content and variety it had. However when I saw the screenshots for the newest version of shadowrun I didnt even bother to ask how it was I knew it would suck, and I was right. To anyone who hopes to or will have any part in the new development of a shadowrun game design I sincerely hope you will take the time to actually research how the "original game played and what it was all about. This version was the most incredibly disappointing piece of crap ever released. It was all about making money with no focus on the right way to take advantage of such an epic and legendary game that is still played in darkrooms around seattle.

Hi, i have been playing Shadowrun since day one, and i always seem to go back to it. Yes, Halo is fun, as is Gears of War, Crackdown, Guitar Hero, etc etc. But Shadowrun doesnt get old like any other game. Now everyone who is talking about turning this game into an RPG or MMORPG, can you please just think about what your saying... The game would be repetitive, allow unbalanced fights, to much to comprehend, sort of like Oblivion, minus the xbox live of course. Shadowrun should be kept as is, it is next to perfect, minor modifications including new maps, new spells/tech and downloadable content. The future of Shadowrun relies on Adverstisement, as i had never seen a commercial, and ad, anything for this game, i was just let it on it by a friend... Shadowrun is a great game that doesn't get old like halo, gears, etc. It allows the player to choose what he wants to do... The game is very balanced everything has a pro and a con, And finally... NO STORY MODE IS NEEDED!!! The games online play it self is a story... How could a story be made with out completely redoing the gameplay.

Shadowrun on the 360 is one of my favorite shooters; I've always liked Counter-Strike and Shadowrun added so many amazing things to the typical C-S format: several races with different abilities, magic and tech to change the flow of combat, RESURRECTION, and the weapons were cool too. Plus the game has what I feel to be very good graphics and physics, and all this adds up to what I had felt could be a GOTY contender... sadly I was mistaken. I know fans of the PnP RPG generally hate this game because its not a story rpg, but I still hold out hope that those of us who enjoy this format of Shadowrun will not be forgotten when the next Shadowrun game comes out. So I hope that the next Shadowrun will either be an RPG with the current Shadowrun as its multiplayer mode, or that there will be two separate Shadowrun titles, an RPG and a sequel to the current Shadowrun. Until then, I won't stop playing this terribly underrated gem of a title! -Skeletal

all right well shadowrun is absolutely amazing

sure the whole point of it just being an online game limits its user and gamers but still if you have xbl its a great game to play..

i would have loved for this game to have a story line or something to back up the online play

maybe the shadowrun era may continue in the next game??

Well where is the REPORT!

About Shadowrun failing; No Singleplayer was a biggie to lots of people, (not me cause im a counter-strike fan and multiplayer hog, so single player modes rarely get played on my 360.) The last singleplayer game i beat for 360 was Saints Row i believe, but many people told me they felt that the game was Half-Assed because of this. The main reason was not only no singleplayer, But an actual mixture of no singleplayer but still the $59.95 price. It also wasn't marketed for squat, cause even though Bioshock had no multiplayer (i did not buy this game nor did i make it to the 3rd level before i sent it back in the Mail.) it was hyped majorly and people bought it and loved it. I love Shadowrun more than every game on the 360 except its a tie with Gears Of War. If you make the next shadowrun a freakin RPG and not a shooter, I probably wont buy it, cause i like it as an online shooter.

Sure I can do that, Its a class project that involves 7 students
Each assigned to learn a section of Shadowrun. We are doing the evolution to the present so, I think it will be a good article. (crosses fingers) So yes I will turn into you as well and you can give us your thoughts.
