The founder (Jordan Weisman) of the former FASA Studios (makers of Shadowrun, MechWarrior, Crimson Skies, etc.) has said that Shadowrun was recently “not treated well, shall we say, so the thought was, let a little time pass before approaching that one again.” However, his current company (Smith & Tinker) is the owner of the Shadowrun license and is looking to revive Crimson Skies, an XBOX original launch title and one of FASA Studios greatest games.
The good news is that his company, Smith & Tinker, do own the Shadowrun license so it is on their radar. However, the bad news is that it looks like S&T are working on other games at the moment.
